Nieuw uit te brengen cd met kamermuziek van Geza Frid

Deze cd zal worden uitgebracht door Hungaroton Records Ltd. Budapest in Hongaars-Nederlands samenwerkingsverband ten einde de 20e sterfdag te gedenken van de in Hongarije geboren Nederlandse componist en pianist Geza Frid.
Geza Frid was student van Béla Bartók en Zoltán Kodály. Hij woonde en werkte in Nederland sinds 1929 als uitvoerend musicus, componist, leraar en schrijver/criticus en was een van de sleutelfiguren in de wereld van de na-oorlogse Nederlandse muziek. Geza Frid vormde een schakel tussen de culturele erfenissen van Hongarije en Nederland.
De cd bevat kamermuziekwerken van Geza Frid die gekenmerkt worden door een markant gevoel voor ritme en melodische creativiteit. De vertolkers zijn jonge Hongaarse en Nederlandse musici met uitstekende internationale referenties. De toelichting bij de cd zal worden gepubliceerd in Hongaars, Engels, Duits en Frans. De cd zal wereldwijd worden uitgebracht via het distributiesysteem van Hungaroton Recotds Ltd. Er zullen promotieconcerten worden gegeven in Nederland en Hongarije. Er zal ook worden samengewerkt met de media, zowel met de Nederlandse radio en televisie, als met de Hongaarse Duna Televisie om het project onder de aandacht te brengen.
Als een hoogwaardige artistieke uiting van culturele samenwerking is de cd ook zeer geschikt als representatiegeschenk in culturele en diplomatieke kringen.

Besteling-vooraf:
Prijs van de cd bij bestelling-vooraf: 14 euro (in plaats van 18 euro) bij binnenkort geplaatste bestelling, betaling na aflevering.

New CD to Release with Chamber Music of Géza Frid

This CD will be released 2009 by Hungaroton Records Ltd. Budapest in Hungarian-Dutch artistic cooperation to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the death of Géza Frid (1904-1989), Dutch composer and pianist of Hungarian birth.
Géza Frid has been a master student of Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály. He lived and worked in the Netherlands since 1929 and was one of the key figures in the world of post-war Dutch music, working as a performing artist, composer, teacher and author/critic. Géza Frid represented a bridge linking the cultural heritage of Hungary and the Netherlands.
The CD contains chamber music works of Géza Frid which are characterised by a striking feel for rhythm and a melodic creativity. The interpreters are young Hungarian and Dutch musicians with excellent international references. The booklet will be published in Hungarian, English, German and French. The CD will be distributed worldwide by the distributing system of Hungaroton Records Ltd. Promotional concerts will take place in the Netherlands and Hungary. There will be also a collaboration with media, with Dutch Radio and Television as well as with the Hungarian Duna Television to feature the project.
As a high level artistic product of cultural cooperation, the CD is also very well suited as a representative gift e.g. in cultural and diplomatic circles.

Új CD Frid Géza kamarazenei műveivel

Frid Géza (1904-1989) halálának huszadik évfordulójára 2009-ben holland-magyar művészi együttműködés keretében egy kamarazenei CD jelenik meg a Hungaroton Records gondozásában.
Frid Géza magyar zeneszerző és zongoraművész, Bartók és Kodály mestertanítványa volt Budapesten, 1929-től Hollandiában élt, s a holland zenei élet egyik meghatározó alakjává nőtte ki magát a háború után. Döntően hozzájárult Bartók és Kodály zenéjének megismertetéséhez Hollandiában, s saját műveiben kreatívan tovább szőtte a tradíciót, ezzel fontos kapcsot teremve holland és a magyar kultúra között. Frid Gézát művészi munkásságáért Budapesten posztumusz Bartók Béla díjjal tüntették ki.
A CD-n hallható izgalmas, változatos kompozíciók magas színvonalú művészi élményt jelentenek élvonalbeli fiatal magyar és holland művészek tolmácsolásában. A CD, melyhez négynyelvű füzet készül (magyar, angol, német, francia) a Hungaroton Records terjesztésében világszerte kapható lesz, a projektet kísérni fogják a holland és magyar médiák is.
Mint nemzetközi színvonalú magyar-holland kulturális termék, a CD kiválóan illik vállalatok, kultúratámogató egyesülések arculatához is, pl. mint reprezentációs ajándék.
Azzal a kérdéssel fordulunk Önhöz, kívánja-e támogatni e CD létrejöttét, ill. tud-e segíteni támogatók felkutatásában. Érdeklődését megtisztelésnek tartanánk.
